The briefing was delivered by Helen Jones, Group Executive Director at Caffè Nero. Helen is helping to drive the group’s further expansion into international markets and develop a consumer products division. Before joining Caffè Nero, she held the role of Managing Director at Zizzi, the casual dining chain, where she led a change programme to revitalize the brand and as a result, grow the business. Helen previously worked for Ben & Jerry’s for 15 years, launching the US ice-cream brand into the UK market before going on to lead the expansion into Europe. She has two NED roles, one with the Halfords Group plc and she’s also a member of the Ben & Jerry’s Independent Board of Directors based in the US.
