At some point, we’ve all had a colleague that rubs us the wrong way. Someone who seems like a kiss-up or a curmudgeon, someone we wish were more deferential, or less arrogant. Someone who just grates on our nerves.
Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic and Ben Dattner wrote a great article in HBR in which they state that it’s worth taking a moment to pause and ask: is this person’s personality the problem or is something else going on? Are you being fair and objective?
